The agency will also be responsible for the development of the State’s landscape and the preservation of the beautification of roads, heritage sites and public open spaces in the State.
The parks and Gardens Agency was set up by the Edo State Government of Nigeria-Edo State Parks and Gardens Agency Bill 2022. The agency will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and management of green areas, public open spaces and recreation parks in Edo State, in line with the provisions of the State’s master plan.
The agency will also be responsible for the development of the State’s landscape and the preservation of the beautification of roads, heritage sites and public open spaces in the State.
